Almost intact black-glazed saltcellar found in 1955 on the south slope of the Acropolis.

It has a broad, ring-base, shallow hemispherical body and rounded rim that curves inwards. The vessel is covered in black glaze apart from a band at the junction of base and body and the resting surface that remain in the colour of the clay. The vessel’s underside has a small central nipple.
